PANASONIC DP-C264 BLACK DRUM

You should replace an installed drum unit(s) in the following circumstances:

[U29 Yellow], [U29 Cyan], [U29 Magenta], and/or [U29 Black] is displayed on the LCD – The indicated drum unit has been exhausted and must be replaced. Please install a new [Color] drum unit.

[U28 Yellow], [U28 Cyan], [U28 Magenta], and/or [U28 Black] is displayed on the LCD – The Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System does not detect the specified drum unit. You must make sure that the indicated drum unit is correctly installed. Please install a new [Color] drum unit if the problem persists.

Initially, you must make sure that your Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System is in a Stand-by/Ready mode, and then open the front cover. After that, you must remove the waste toner container by pulling it carefully towards you, and then unlock the exhausted drum unit by turning its release knob counterclockwise. Please note that the drum units must be installed in the following order (left – right): Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and Black. Once the exhausted drum unit is unlocked, you must remove it by pulling it slowly towards you, and then take the new drum unit out of the plastic bag. Now, you must align the green arrow of the new drum unit with the mark on the corresponding slot, and then insert the new drum unit up to the black arrow stamped on the protective cover. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the orange tape and the protective cover from the new drum unit, and then insert the new component firmly into place. Next, you must lock the new drum unit into place by turning its releasing knob clockwise, and then attach the included color label to the front side of the new component. Finally, you must reinstall the waste toner container, and then close the front cover of your Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System.
