You can check the status of the ink cartridges installed in your Epson Stylus C60 by using the EPSON printer software. An installed ink cartridge should be replaced if:

� The message [XX ink low] is displayed

� The message [XX ink empty] is displayed

How to Install an Ink Cartridge in the Epson Stylus C60

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must switch your Epson Stylus C60 on, and then open the main cover. After that, you must push the [Ink Replacement] button, and then wait until the printhead stops moving. Now, you must release the clamp that secures the exhausted ink cartridge, and then remove the exhausted component from the Epson Stylus C60. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the protective seal from the new ink cartridge, and then insert the new component into the empty slot. Once the new ink cartridge is inserted, you must push the clamp down until it snaps into place, and then push the [Ink Replacement] button.
