The paper length can be adjusted by hitting the release buttons and sliding the stopper to fit the size of the paper. You can see the different paper sizes on the bottom of the cassette. Next you need to change the paper width which can be achieved by pressing the release buttons. You then need to fan the paper and tap it so that the printer doesn’t jam. Then place the paper in the cassette with the side that needs printed facing down. Never put too much paper in the cassette or it may lead to a paper jam. Finally push the cassette back into the printer the entire way.

The Kyocera FS-1128MFP makes installing a new toner container easy. First you want to open the front cover. Then remove the process unit from the machine. Next turn the lever to the unlocked position. It is important to shake the new toner container several times before inserting it. Make sure that the protective seal has been taken off before inserting the new toner container. Afterward align the knob on the left side of the container and make sure the process unit is lined up correctly. Check that the container has clicked properly into place. Finally push the lock lever back to its original position and close the front cover.

Overview: This printer was developed with small businesses in mind and offers functions that will improve the viability of your small business. The productivity of your office will increase with this printer due to more efficient printing, copying, scanning, and faxing. It is cost efficient and prints images and text clearly. Greyscales could be improved with the Kyocera FS-1128MFP.

Pros: I really love its LCD display which provides you with everything you need to know about what the machine is doing. The printer can handle PDF, JPG, and TIF files from your USB. This is quite a substantial piece of equipment that features a 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder and an amazing control panel. You can also store regular fax numbers in the printer as well, saving you time when you want to fax business documents. This machine also packs a 250-sheet paper tray at the bottom. You can also add two, 250 sheet trays underneath that will increase the amount of paper to 800 sheets. The FS-1128MFP can print and scan in duplex mode which will produce two-sided copies. This can easily be done using the control panel; however you can also set up certain parameters using the four program buttons. Recently I printed a 28 page document with the machine in just a minute. That is right on target with what the product features claim. However duplex copies are slower with a rate of 13.5 per minute. That is an outstanding rate for a small-office printer. Just like other models of the Kyocera Mita, the FS-1128MFP comes with a lifetime photoconductor drum, leaving you with only having to purchase toner. The toner for this machine is reasonably priced and will print around 7,200 copies. The FS-1128MFP is the perfect choice for the price conscious company.

Cons: Sometimes the FS-1128MFP network printing is not up to par. Furthermore it tends to jam at the least opportune times. Despite offering many great features and being very cost effective, the little problems that you have to deal with this model are really irritating.
