This toner cartridge prints 8000 pages with average 5% coverage (Nearly all Printer manufacturers base their ink/toner cartridge yields on 5% page coverage).

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Lanier 5020MFD

Initially, you must switch your Lanier 5020MFD off, and then unplug the power cord. After that, you must open the front cover of the machine, and then raise the lever of the toner cartridge holder. Now, you must pull the toner cartridge holder towards you until it stops, and then remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the Lanier 5020MFD. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it at least ten times from side to side. After that, you must remove the outer plastic cap from the new toner cartridge, and then insert the new component into the toner cartridge holder. Once the new toner cartridge is inserted, you must return the toner cartridge holder to its original position, and then push the lever down. Finally, you must close the front cover, and then switch your Lanier 5020MFD on.
