OKIDATA MICROLINE 393 RIBBON CARTRIDGE

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must turn the OkiData MicroLine 393 Impact Printer off, open the access cover, and then move the printhead to the center of the platen. Please be aware that the printhead may be hot. After that, you must detach ribbon of the exhausted cartridge from the printhead posts, and then take the exhausted component out of the impact printer. Now, you must take the new ribbon cartridge out of the plastic bag, and then push the latch of the idler roller in. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must align the pins of the new ribbon cartridge with notches inside the machine, and then push the new component down until it clicks into place. Once the new ribbon cartridge is inserted, you must attach the ribbon to the printhead posts, and then turn the take-up knob clockwise until you feel a resistance. Finally, you must close the access cover, and then switch the OkiData MicroLine 393 Impact Printer on.
