When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Ricoh FT-4222

The Ricoh FT-4222 is equipped with a toner cartridge (Add Toner) indicator. The status of this indicator will change if the installed toner cartridge needs replacing. Please replace the installed toner cartridge if:

� The toner cartridge indicator flashes

� The toner cartridge indicator is steadily lit

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Ricoh FT-4222

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your Ricoh FT-4222, and then unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by turning it clockwise. After that, you must pull the exhausted toner cartridge towards you to remove it from the main unit, and then take the replacement toner cartridge out of the protective bag. Now, you must align the tabs of the new toner cartridge with the guides of the slot, and then insert the new component into place while pulling off the protective toner seal. Finally, you must turn the new toner cartridge counterclockwise the lock it into place, and then close the front cover of your Ricoh FT-4222.
