Sharp's AR-201 Printer Review

Overview:

The Sharp's AR-201 is an outstanding printer, but it is expensive. It is easy to maintain and operate and produces high quality prints. Both black and white and color copies with the AR-201 are of high quality.

Pros:

Setting up the Sharp AR-201 is really easy and straightforward. With Sharp you get its Sharpdesk application. It gets the job done whether you are printing or scanning and can compile documents from several files. These features come in handy and are easy to use.
The AR-M201 is bigger than your typical multifunction printer. It comes with a 250 sheet tray which you load sideways. You can feed it from right to left and your print job ends up on the left side of the machine. It also comes with a 50-sheet multimedia tray and can handle 300 sheets in total.
Plus it adds a 50 sheet Automatic Document Feeder for copying and scanning. It scans with a resolution of 600 x 1,200 dpi and can handle photo prints as well as text pages.
Toner cartridges for this machine are easy to insert and offer high yields. With the Sharp AR-201, you will be able to reduce you printing cost.
 

Cons:

The control panel is difficult to use. The page imposition and special functions are too close together. On the control panel there are 18 quick-dial buttons for the fax that are jammed together.
