First log on as an administrator and you will need full control access in order to install the CAPT. Then select settings and Printers from the start menu. The printer folder will open up. Now click the Add Printer icon twice. This will provide you with access to the Add Printer Wizard box. The following step is to choose my computer and select NEXT. Next choose the printer port you intend to use and select NEXT.  The following step is to choose Have Disk in the dialog box. Users will then see the INSTALL FROM DISK box. You will need to use Browse to locate the directory that contains CAPT and select OK. Afterwards choose the printer model from the printers you have displayed and choose NEXT.  Then click NEXT in order to use the default printer name or to enter another name and select NEXT. Then choose whether you want to share the printer with additional computers. At this point users need to choose any operating systems that they will use with this printer and hit NEXT.  Users will then be given the option to print a text page or not. If you don’t want to print a test page select NO and click FINISH. After you have finished the installation you will see a dialog box. Select OK to close this box.

This will give you access to the printer ports and you should choose the ones you want to use and press NEXT.  Then choose Have Disk in the Manufacturers/Printers box. Users will then see Install From Disk. Browse should be used to choose the directory or enter CAPT and select OK.  Users will then need to choose their printer model of their device from the list given and choose NEXT. The default printer name can be used by pressing NEXT.

The following step requires you to choose whether your printer will be shared with other computers. Next choose YES if you intend to print a test page or NOif you don’t want a test page and click NEXT. When you are completely done click finish. If you choose to print a test page you will see a dialogue box which asks whether the test page printed without any problems. If your test page printed correctly select OK and the add printer wizard is finished.
