This Toner Cartridge prints 32200 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Konica Minolta specification)

To install a new toner cartridge in your Konica Minolta BizHub 501 Laser Printer, you must open the front cover, and then open the toner cartridge cover. After that, you must pull the toner cartridge holder towards you until it stops, and then remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the holder. Now, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it at least 15 times from side to side to broken up and loosen the toner. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the protective cap from the new toner cartridge, and then set the new component into the holder. After that, you must push the toner cartridge holder towards the main unit as far as it will go, and then close the toner cartridge cover. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Konica Minolta BizHub 501 Laser Printer.

The Konica BizHub 501 is an outstanding option for medium sized businesses. With the BizHub 501 you get outstanding quality printing at affordable prices. Plus you won’t have to wait around for it to get the job done since it offers above average printing speeds.

Pros:

- One of the top features of the Konica BizHub 501 is its web interface User Box. The user box offers one-touch scanning that allows images to be saved and later downloaded through the web interface. The BizHub comes with a USB port and offers another option for saving scans.

- The BizHub is durable and can handle a monthly duty cycle of 175,000. The printer is rated at 50 pages per minute by Konica. Test have shown that the first copy is out in just 10.6 seconds which is outstanding.

- Print resolution for the Konica BizHub 501 is standard at 600 X 600 dpi. The results with this machine are above average and characters printing are well-formed and accurate. However they are a little bolder than higher resolution prints.

Cons:

- The User Box is complicated for everyday users and it doesn’t provide you with thumbnail previews of scanned documents. However the User Box is a welcome feature that comes in handy.

- One major drawback of the BizHub 501 is that it doesn’t offer color scanning. This may have been a cost saving measure however the results are that the scanner cannot be used to scan anything other than documents.
