When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Brother HL-2400C

The Brother HL-2400C uses for toner cartridges in order to reproduce the input file in optimal quality. The lifespan of the three color toner cartridges is approx. 6,000 printouts, while the black toner cartridge yields up to 10,000 printouts. You can obtain information about the status of the installed toner cartridge by checking the four toner indicators located on the control panel LCD. Please note that you can extend the lifespan of the installed toner cartridges by using the Toner Save feature. An installed toner cartridge(s) should be replaced when any of the listed indications appears.

� The message [16 TONER EMPTY CMY COLOR] is displayed

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Brother HL-2400C

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your Brother HL-2400C, and then take the exhausted toner cartridge out of the main unit. After that, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the protective bag, and then shake it 5-6 times from side to side. Now, you must remove the orange plastic cover from the new toner cartridge, and then insert the new component into the corresponding slot. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Brother HL-2400C.
