When to Replace a Drum Unit in the Brother MFC-7820N Printer

When LCD screen on Brother MFC-7820N shows or message you have to know that you have little copies left and you need to change the drum unit as soon as possible.
NOTE: Have a spear drum unit set a side or when received the message order from your local supplier.

After receiving or message you can continue to print until all printed pages become with poor or light quality.

How to Replace the Drum Unit in a Brother MFC-7820N Printer

Stand in front of the printer and open front door. Pull out drum and cartridge as they are together. Separate toner cartridge from drum unit. Push down the blue lock on the right side of drum and cartridge assembly to free the drum unit.

Dispose of old drum unit due to local laws and regulations.

Take new drum unit. Remove protection cover.

Put the toner cartridge into new drum unit carefully until you hear the blue lock click. If you hear it, you have assembled toner and drum.

Next step will be to clean corona wire, by gently sliding blue tab on top of the drum unit sideways several times. Retrieve it to start position.

You can now install back the assembly into the Brother MFC-7820N printer. Check options on your LCD screen. You will be asked if you want to replace the Drum confirm if you are replacing it with new one and close front door.

How to Fix a Drum Error Message on the Brother MFC-7820N Printer

If the LCD screen on your Brother MFC-7820N shows message, clean the Drum unit using the corona on it several times. When you are done cleaning put back the corona in its first position.
