CANON LASERCLASS 2060 TONER CARTRIDGE

The toner cartridge is the only component of your Canon LaserCLASS 2060 Laser Printer that needs periodic replacement. The toner cartridge contains the toner supply and the photoconductive drum. You can print up to 30-40% more pages with the installed toner cartridge by using the economy-printing mode. The installed toner cartridge should be replaced if:

· The message [CHECK COVER/CART] is displayed – You should reinstall the toner cartridge, and then test the Canon LaserCLASS 2060 Laser Printer. Please replace the installed toner cartridge if the problem persists.

· The message [REPLACE CARTRIDGE] is displayed – The installed toner cartridge has reached end of life, or the Canon LaserCLASS 2060 Laser Printer has detected an unrecoverable hardware problem. Please replace the installed toner cartridge with a new one.

· Nothing is printed

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must empty both the input and the output tray, and ensure that the Canon LaserCLASS 2060 Laser Printer is plugged in. After that, you must lift the release latch that is located on the right side of the machine, and then open the front cover. Now, you must pull the used toner cartridge out of the main unit, and then remove the replacement component from the protective bag. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must shake the new toner cartridge several times from side to side, and then remove the protective plastic seal from the new component. Once the plastic seal is removed, you must align the tabs of the new toner cartridge with the guides of the slot, and then insert the cartridge into place. Finally, you must press the new toner cartridge down to ensure proper contact, and then close the front cover of your Canon LaserCLASS 2060 Laser Printer.
