CS-C3225 TRANSFER BELT UNIT ASSEMBLY

The built-in system of your Copystar CS-C3225 Laser Printer is constantly monitoring the status of the installed staple cartridge. The system will display one of the listed and described below messages on the control LCD, if a staple cartridge related abnormality has been detected.

• ‘’Cannot staple this paper type’’ – This error message indicates that an unsupported type of paper has been detected. Please change the type of used paper.

• ‘’Cannot staple this size.’’ – This error message indicates that the size of the used paper is unsupported. You can print your documents without stapling, or change the paper size.

• ‘’Cannot staple. ## : maximum capacity (Staple)’’ or ‘’Cannot staple. ## : Max. staples’’ – Both of these messages are indicating that the number of pages of the current print task exceeds the number of available staples. You should reduce the number of pages, or install a new staple cartridge (only if the maximal pages number per print task is not exceeding 5000).

• ‘’Out of staples. Add staples.’’ – This error message indicates that the installed staple cartridge has been completely exhausted. You must install a new staple cartridge into the document finisher (stapler).

You should always keep a spare staple cartridge for your Copystar CS-C3225 Laser Printer in stock, but please remember to store all consumables in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations.

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must detach the Document Finisher 710 from your Copystar CS-C3225 color laser printer by pulling the finisher out while pushing its lock release lever (located on the top side of the DF 710) to the left. Then, you must open the right cover of your DF 710. In the next step, you must remove the staple cartridge holder from the finisher by pulling it down, and then detach the empty staple cartridge by grabbing its marked portions (marked with an arrow) and pulling upwards (out of the holder). Now, you must insert the new staple cartridge into the holder, and then lock it into place by gently sliding it to the front side of the staple cartridge holder. Once the new staple cartridge is securely attached, you must install the staple cartridge holder into the DF 710, and then close the right cover. Finally, you must reinstall the Document Finisher 710 to the Copystar CS-C3225, and then print a test page.
