The built-in monitoring system of your Copystar RC-2310 Laser Printer is programmed to display appropriate messages on the LCD screen when a toner-cartridge status change or abnormality occurs. You should replace the installed toner cartridge if:

[Ready to copy <> Add toner to resume copying] is displayed – Your Copystar RC-2310 Laser Printer can print/copy only one page at a time because the installed toner cartridge is nearly empty. To restore the normal printing performance of your machine, you must install a new toner cartridge.

[Add toner to resume copying] is displayed – The Copystar RC-2310 Laser Printer cannot print or copy because the installed toner cartridge is empty. Please install a new toner cartridge by following the detailed instructions provided below.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Copystar RC-2310 Laser Printer

You must start the replacement procedure by opening the front cover of your Copystar RC-2310 Laser Printer. Then, you must unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by sliding the releasing lever to the right until it stops. After that, you must lift the used cartridge slightly up, and then pull it out of the main unit. Now, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it 10-15 times from side to side in order to redistribute the toner. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must insert it into the laser printer, and then slide the lock release lever to the left. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Copystar RC-2310 Laser Printer.
