It is an economic package which provides the power of four separate devices—print, copy, scan and fax. With the innovative features and seamless functionality, document processing complications are surely taken care of. It seemingly leaves you nothing to do but watch how paper handling needs are sufficed effortlessly and efficiently right from one convenient central location making it significantly an overall office productivity boost. DP-8035 is as well designed to impart low TCO (total cost of ownership), which is user-friendly and can be manipulated by anyone even those with disabilities. It stands large in its rectangular box resemblance covered by a cream color with only one panel that’s in gray. The gray panel is located at the top and should be prominent with the useful highlights embedded in it. These highlights include an LCD display and an array of several buttons for controls including the ones in green and red used for basic functions such as starting or stopping print actions. It does not make you wait too long with a considerable warm-up time at around 30 seconds from main power switch on that then delivers the first copy within 5.8 seconds (letter size). Copy outputs are clean and smooth that are of crisp details made possible by the standard copy resolution of 600 x 600 DPI. Multiple copying is enabled for up to 999 copies that then automatically resets to 1 with exposure control offering three options which can either be in text, photo or text-photo mode. Zooming ratio adds up to flexibility allowing within 25% to 400% in increments of 1% while sorting memory of standard 32 MB is expandable for up to a maximum 160 MB for a smoother and more effective sorting. Apart from the innovative functions including Double Exposure, SkyShot and N-in-1 Copy, it offers a very helpful feature which is the Proof Copy function that provides sample set to check before having the mass-copy. This function significantly prevents costly errors as well as it improves productivity since everything is done error-free and straight-forward.

It first scans your document at approximately 0.7 seconds that then transmits it real quick at about less than 2.7 seconds transmission speed. Effective scanning width is at 10.7” but this should not bother you about quality scans for other sizes as it has four different resolutions to enhance digitization of documents namely the standard mode at 203 DPI x 98 LPI, fine mode at 203 DPI x 196 LPI, super fine mode at 406 DPI x 391 LPI and the 600 DPI mode at 600 x 600 DPI.

Leave the worries behind as paper handling capacity of DP-8035 is exceptional making it fit for establishments of abusive print or copy jobs. Standard paper capacity is given by three different paper feeders. First is the extra-large 1,550-sheet letter-size paper cassette that can handle most of the high-volume copying needs, the standard 550-sheet paper tray and the 50-sheet bypass tray great for handling copies onto special media types such as envelopes and transparencies. If this still sounds insufficient for your ridiculously large paper handling needs, the 2,150 overall paper sheet capacity is expandable for up to a maximum capacity of 6,250 paper sheets. As with any WORKiO DP MFPs, ease of use and management is utmost prioritized that Panasonic assured to incorporate a comprehensive and improved user interface. Panasonic as well ensured that such versatile MFP is available for use even for those of disability. Confidential documents that are critical to your business will forever be confidential with the enhanced security in DP-8035. The Hard Disk Data erasing closes any potential leak by overwriting image data of each completed copy and print job. Administration can also be protected by a uniform username and password to enable usage restrictions which is helpful in minimizing the cost of non-permitted print or copy actions. Or say if you’re detaching the Hard Drive and want it secured, then you’ll need the optional Data Security Kit that works exactly like the BitLocker of Windows 7. It locks the Hard Drive and will always be locked not unless the set password is entered.

Cons:

DP-3510 is monstrous in its large dimensions of 23.6” x 29.8” x 35.4” (W x D x H) making it considerably bulky. The monstrous size corresponded to a monster weight as well making mobility nearly impossible with its weight at approximately 135 kg. Operating system compatibility is also a problem as by default, it is incompatible to newer operating systems such as Windows Vista and 7 since its compatibility are on operating systems prior to its release and drivers (if available) is needed to be downloaded or supplied to be compatible with this newer operating systems.
