This Drum is good for printing 20000 pages, on average. Average page coverage is 5% of toner per page (compared to white space on the paper), which is the standard Lexmark specification for this drum, and a standard measuring term for the consumer printing industry.

When do I Replace a Drum Unit in the Lexmark E332 Laser Printer?

You should replace the installed drum unit when any of the listed indications appears.

� The [Continue] LED is lit and the [Toner Low/Replace PC Kit] indicator flashes – The installed drum unit is nearing end of life. You should purchase a new drum unit for your Lexmark E332 Laser Printer.

� The [Toner Low/Replace PC Kit] indicator flashes – The replacement threshold of the installed drum unit has been reached. The installation of a new drum unit is highly recommended. Please be aware that the installed drum unit will stop operating after approx. 100 prints.

� The [Continue] LED is lit, and the [Toner Low/Replace PC Kit] and [Error] indicators flash – The Lexmark E332 Laser Printer cannot print or copy because the installed drum unit is full. Please install a new drum unit.

How to Install a Drum Unit in the Lexmark E332 Laser Printer

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your Lexmark E332 Laser Printer, and then pull the exhausted drum unit together with the toner cartridge out of the main compartment. After that, you must press the release button located on the front side of the exhausted drum unit, and then remove the toner cartridge from the exhausted component. Now, you must unpack the new drum unit, and then align the white rollers of the toner cartridge with the tracks of the new component. Once the toner cartridge is correctly aligned, you must insert it into the new drum unit, and then insert the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into the Lexmark E332 Laser Printer. Finally, you must close the front cover, and then reset the drum counter by selecting [Utilities] – [Reset Photoconductor Counter].
