This Toner Cartridge prints 7500 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Muratec specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Muratec.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Muratec F-300 Plain-paper Multifunction Printer?

The useful life of a new, full-yield toner cartridge is approx. 7,500 letter-sized pages at 4% document coverage. Please be aware that the Starter toner cartridge lasts only 3,000 printouts at 4% coverage.
You should replace the installed toner cartridge when any of the listed messages and/or print-quality problems appears. The complete replacement procedure is included further below.

[No Toner Cartridge] is displayed – Your Muratec F-300 Plain-paper Multifunction Printer does not detect an installed toner cartridge. Please make sure that the toner cartridge is installed correctly, and then restart the laser printer. Please install a new toner cartridge if the problem persists.

[Please Replace Toner] is displayed – The Muratec F-300 Plain-paper Multifunction Printer cannot print because the installed toner cartridge is empty. You must install a new toner cartridge to be able to continue printing.

[Toner Low] – The installed toner cartridge is nearly empty, which could lead to various print-quality problems. You should install a new toner cartridge.

Pages are blank or black

Printouts are too light or dark

Printouts are of uneven density or have a blurred background

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Muratec F-300 Plain-paper Multifunction Printer

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your Muratec F-300 Plain-paper Multifunction Printer, and then turn the locking lever of the used toner cartridge to the left. Next, you must remove the used toner cartridge by pulling it straight towards you, and then unpack the new toner cartridge. Once the new toner cartridge is unpacked, you must shake it seven-eight times up and down to ensure equal toner distribution, and then slide the new component along the guides of the slot until it locks into place. In the concluding step of the replacement procedure, you must turn the toner-cartridge locking lever to the right, and then close the front cover of your Muratec F-300 Plain-paper Multifunction Printer.
