GESTETNER 3502 TONER CARTRIDGE

You should replace the installed toner cartridge in the following circumstances:

Copies are too light/faded – You must make sure that the loaded paper size is appropriate, and then increase the image density level. Please install a new toner cartridge if the problem persists.

The [Add Toner] icon is displayed – Please note that the [Add Toner] icon illustrates six black dots in a pyramidal order with a black arrow pointing towards the dots. The [Add Toner] icon appears once the level of remaining toner drops under .5%. You should install a new toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of the described indication to prevent poor copy quality.

Initially, you must make sure that the Gestetner 3502 Laser Copier is turned on, and then open the front cover. Next, you must raise the green handle of the toner-cartridge holder, and then push the green lock release lever to the right to unlock the toner-cartridge holder. After that, you must pull the green handle towards you until the toner-cartridge holder stops, and then release the used toner cartridge by pressing it towards the main unit. Now, you must pull the used toner cartridge out of the holder, and then take the new toner cartridge out of the plastic bag. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must redistribute the toner by shaking the new cartridge 8-10 times horizontally, and then remove the outer black cap. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must insert it into the toner-cartridge holder, and then push the holder towards the main unit until you hear a click. Finally, you must lower the green handle of the toner-cartridge holder, and then close the front cover of your Gestetner 3502 Laser Copier.
