This Toner Cartridge prints 15000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard HP specification)

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the HP LaserJet 8000 Laser Printer?
The precise built-in system of your HP LaserJet 8000 Laser Printer is constantly monitoring the installed toner cartridge. The built-in system will display the following message ‘’TONER LOW’’ on the control panel LCD, once it detects that the installed toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. You can continue with your print task even after the ‘’TONER LOW’’ message has been displayed. However, the print quality will be noticeably lower, and the toner will be completely consumed after approx. 100 new prints. Therefore, you should install a new toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of the warning message. The toner cartridge must be replaced even if there is no indication by the built-in system, but a variety of print quality issues are reappearing on the printed documents. The complete replacement procedure is included below.
How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the HP LaserJet 8000 Laser Printer
Initially, you must open the top cover of your HP LaserJet 8000 Laser Printer. Then, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge by carefully pulling it out of the main compartment. After that, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it 7-8 times from side to side, in order to loosen and evenly distribute the toner. In the next step, you must remove the sealing tape from the shutter of the new toner cartridge, and then clean the paper path area, the registration area, and the toner cartridge slot, with a dry lint-free cloth. Now, you must take the prepared new toner cartridge and insert it completely into the toner cartridge slot. Finally, you must close the top cover, and then test your HP LaserJet 8000 Laser Printer.
How to Install a Feeder Assembly in the HP LaserJet 8000
In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must switch the HP LaserJet 8000 off, and then unplug the power cord. After that, you must open the left door, and then remove the duplexer. Now, you must remove the fuser unit, and then open the top cover. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the toner cartridge, and then remove the registration assembly. The HP LaserJet 8000 gives you 1200 X 1200 DPI resolution. Text prints produced with it are clear and crisp. Paper handling is outstanding thanks to two, 500 sheet paper trays. As a result you don’t have to add paper very often.


Pros:

The HP LaserJet 8000 is a well designed printer, perfect for meeting the needs of your business. It features 1200 X 1200 dpi resolution.
This printer can handle a variety of media types which include labels, transparencies, recycled paper, and cards. The Bidirectional Parallel interface in this HP laser printer allows you to easily connect to any compatible device. Plus it comes with 16MB RAM which allows you to process data faster. Language simulation for the HP LaserJet 8000 includes PCL 6, PCL 5E, and PostScript 2.
Output quality with the HP LaserJet 8000 is outstanding. Text documents can be read clearly at 4 points. Furthermore there are no signs of smudging.


Cons:

One drawback of the HP LaserJet 8000 is its lack of color printing. Furthermore its processor is slow and it lacks wireless features. As a result your office will need to use cables to connect the HP LaserJet 8000 to your computer. This can cause your office to look messy.
