Pros:

This model is perfect for an entire office and will handle all of your black-and-white printing needs. It can handle your monthly reports. The HP LaserJet 9000 comes with two 500-sheet paper drawers and up to tabloid-size printing.

With the 9000 you get a network card and multipurpose tray. A 2,000 sheet input tray and 3,000 page stapler can be added.

The biggest challenge when preparing the 9000 for use is lifting it since it weighs 143 pounds. Installation is a snap and all you have to do is to use the installation wizard to find the printer confirming when it finds the right printer, and accepting the network settings the wizard suggests. Afterwards you select “Yes” when you are asked to share the printer and install an extra driver.

One think to love above the 9000 is its speed. It is capable of printing a 100 page text in 2 minutes and 10 seconds which is 46.2 PPM. It also offers amazing print quality for a 600 dpi laser printer. It is capable of printing text as small as 4 points which is clean and crisp. Graphics with the HP LaserJet 9000 are also outstanding.

Cons:

This printer tends to jam and can be difficult to maintain. Print quality is outstanding and it is fast. However that only does users good if the machine is working. Above average maintenance is required for the HP LaserJet 9000. Furthermore it does not offer automatic duplexing which helps to save money and reduce the environmental footprint of your company.
