KYOCERA MITA KM-1620 TONER CARTRIDGE

The toner cartridge installed in your Kyocera Mita KM1620 Laser Printer should be replaced if any of the listed indications appears.

· The [Add Toner] indicator blinks red

· The [Add Toner] indicator is lit

· The error code [E32] appears on the copy quantity display – The Kyocera Mita KM1620 Laser Printer does not detect an installed toner cartridge. You should reinstall the toner cartridge, and then test the laser printer. Please install a new toner cartridge if the problem persists.

· The [Replenish Toner] indicator flashes

· The error code [E33] is displayed

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your Kyocera Mita KM1620 Laser Printer, and then unlock the waste toner container by pulling the release lever to the left. Next, you must pull the waste toner container out of the printer, and then seal the used component with the included lid. After that, you must turn the release lever of the toner cartridge to the left, and then remove the toner cartridge from the main unit. Now, you must slide the cleaning rod several times in and out of its slot, and then unpack the new grid cleaner. Once the new grid cleaner is unpacked, you must attach it to the main unit, and then slide the electrical charge section 2-3 times in and out of its slot. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the grid cleaner from the main unit, and then shake the new toner cartridge at least 10 times from side to side. After that, you must insert the new toner cartridge into the slot, and then lock it into place by turning the release lever to the right. Next, you must unpack the new waste toner container, and then insert it into the Kyocera Mita KM1620 Laser Printer until you hear a click. Finally, you must close the front cover of the laser printer.
