This Toner Cartridge prints 30000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Konica Minolta specification)

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Konica Minolta 7222 Laser Printer?

To check the condition of the toner cartridge installed in your Konica Minolta 7222 Laser Printer, you must touch [HELP], and then [Toner].
You should replace the installed toner cartridge if:

Printouts/copies are too light

[ADD TONER] is displayed

The [Add Toner] icon is displayed

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Konica Minolta 7222 Laser Printer

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the plastic bag, and then shake it at least 10 times to loosen and redistribute the toner. After that, you must open the front door of your Konica Minolta 7222 Laser Printer, and then open the cover of the toner-cartridge slot. Now, you must turn the exhausted toner cartridge clockwise to unlock it, and then pull it out of the laser printer. In the next step, you must remove the protective cap from the new toner cartridge, and then align the new cartridge with the slot so that the arrow stamped on the new component is aligned with the mark on the slot. Once the new toner cartridge is correctly aligned, you must slide it into the slot until it stops. Finally, you must push the cover of the slot towards the main unit until it locks into place, and then close the machine front door.

Furthermore it comes with a scan to e-mail/FTP via standard network card. Color and black and white copies are outstanding thanks to its 600 X 600 dpi resolution. Furthermore the model runs at 33.6Kbps and every feature can be accessed using the touch screen. Both PC fax and internet fax are available. Features such as scan to email and scan to folder functionality demonstrate how this multi-tasking machine can get everything done that you need. It allows you to print, scan, fax, and do much more. Finishing features are available that allow you to produce booklets with the Konica 7222. This device can hold up to 4,550 sheets which is perfect for offices that do a lot of printing. Plus it is capable of direct duplexing. The Konica 7222 also provides you with the choice of two different output trays. Additionally it provides a professional look that is perfect for any office.

Cons:

If you are looking for a faster printer the Konica 7222 is probably not what you are looking for. It offers many great features, but it is slow. Additionally the initial price of the Konica 7222 is rather expensive.
