KYOCERA MITA KM-2530 TONER CARTRIDGE

The KYOCERA MITA KM-2530 is equipped with a built-in system, which is constantly monitoring the status of the installed toner cartridge. The built-in system will display an appropriate warning or error message, when it detects a toner cartridge related abnormality. The following warning message ''Ready to copy. Add Toner'' will be displayed on the control LCD of your laser printer, once the built-in system detects a low toner level. You should install a new toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of the warning message. Please note that you should install a new waste toner container, when replacing an exhausted toner cartridge in your KYOCERA MITA KM-2530. The remaining toner will be completely consumed, if the nearly empty toner cartridge is not replaced on time, which will lead to the disabling of all print operations. The complete toner cartridge exhaustion (the non-operational mode) will be indicated with the displaying of the following error message ''Add toner to resume copying'' on the control LCD of your KYOCERA MITA KM-2530. The only available action after the appearance of the error message on the control LCD is a replacement of the exhausted toner cartridge and waste toner container. The complete replacement procedure is included below.

You must start the replacement procedure by opening the front cover of your KYOCERA MITA KM-2530, and then unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling its lock release lever towards you. After that, you must pull the exhausted toner cartridge towards you until its handle is accessible, and then push the lock release lever back to its original position (up). Now, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge by grabbing its handle and carefully pulling towards you, and then unpack the new toner cartridge. In the next step, you must prepare the new toner cartridge for installation by shaking it 10-15 times horizontally, and then insert the new consumable component along the guides of the slot until it stops. Once the new toner cartridge has been completely inserted, you must take the exhausted waste toner container out of the printer by simply pulling it towards you, and then seal the exhausted component with the included protective tape. After that, you must remove the cap from the grid cleaner, and then attach the grid cleaner to the electrostatic section of your laser device. Now, you must push and pull the electrostatic section several times, and then return the electrostatic section back to its original position (inside the printer). In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must detach the grid cleaner from the electrostatic section, and then insert the new waste toner container into the main unit. Then, you must perform the routine cleaning procedure, which is included below.

Routine Cleaning of your KYOCERA MITA KM-2530

1. Pull the cleaning shaft towards you until it stops.
2. Push and pull the cleaning shaft several times.
3. Return the cleaning shaft to its original position.
4. Take the cleaning brush, which is attached next to the installed waste toner container.
5. Open the left cover of your laser printer by pulling its lock release lever towards you.
6. Use the cleaning brush to clean the separator.
7. Return the cleaning brush to its original position.

Finally, you must close the left cover, and then close the front cover of your KYOCERA MITA KM-2530.
