An oldie but goodie multifunction device that can escort a business into success imparting print, fax and copy capabilities. Ai-2310 is not only proven to be a great boost in a serious business looking for some serious output but as well as it’s a great boost for productivity with its reliable and durable components making it perfect for establishments with tight budget.

Pros:

Ai-2310 can handle your copy and printing needs unto various papers as it can deliver work for five paper sizes namely 11” x 17”, 11” x 8 ½“, 8 ½“x 14”, 8 ½“x 11” and 5 ½“x 8 ½“in print margin loss of 0.5-5.5 mm. Engine speed is excellent which should be prominent in its batch prior to its release. Individual copying speed accompanies every individual copying size. It outputs 16 CPM (copies per minute) for 11” x 17” size, 30 CPM for 11” x 8 ½“ size, 19 CPM for 8 ½“ x 14” size and 24 CPM for 8 ½“ x 11”. First copy out time is pretty fast at between 5 or 6 seconds while the warm-up time is within 45 seconds and 30 seconds if from energy saver mode.

For flexible imaging solutions, it offers a zooming ratio of 25-400% in increments of 1% at a resolution of 600 x 600 DPI. Image storage isn’t a problem as it has more or less substantial storage memory of 16 MB. And to add up some functionality, Ai-2310 does an automatic feeding from drawers which is a standard feature in its paper feed system. This automatic feeding feature is available in 2 drawers of 550 sheet capacity each.

With the dimensions of 23.17”W x 23.63”D x 29.31”H is a bit bulky and the weight of 178.2 lbs. (nearly 81 kg.) makes immobility nearly impossible. And as earlier said, Ai-2310 is an old multifunction device model by Kyocera Mita which means operating system compatibility is also a hassle as by default, it is incompatible to newer operating systems namely Windows Vista and 7 since its compatibility are on operating systems prior to its release or in the case of Windows OS, its compatibility is only until Windows XP and so driver/s (if available, which may be found directly in the official manufacturer’s site) is/are needed to be downloaded and installed to be compatible with these newer operating systems.
