Toner cartridges for this unit are affordable. They yield 11,000 pages which lowers per page printing costs. Output is outstanding. Monochrome images are excellent. Text is sharp and perfect for printing business documents.
This unit offers outstanding faxing capabilities. It can store over 100 numbers. The Lanier 5227 also has memory to store incoming faxes and print them later should you run out of paper or toner. It is handy and save users time.

Cons:

One drawback to using this unit is that it tends to jam. Furthermore it lacks finishing features that will save you time. The Lanier 5227 will require you to sort and staple documents by hand.
