This Toner Cartridge prints 9000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Lanier specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Lanier.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Lanier 5518 Multifunctional Device?

You should install a new toner cartridge in your Lanier 5518 Multifunctional Device if:

The [Add Toner] symbol appears on the status display

Copies are too light

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Lanier 5518 Multifunctional Device

You must start the replacement procedure by opening the front cover of your Lanier 5518 Multifunctional Device. Then, you must raise the handle of the toner cartridge holder. After that, you must push the green release lever to the right, and then pull the toner cartridge holder towards you until it stops. Now, you must unlock the used toner cartridge by sliding it towards the main unit, and then pull it out of the holder. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must loosen the toner by shaking the new cartridge several times from side to side, and then remove the outer cap from the front side of the new component. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must install it into the holder, and then push the holder towards the Lanier 5518 Multifunctional Device until you hear a click. Finally, you must close the front cover of the main unit.
