This Toner Cartridge prints 30000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Lanier specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Lanier.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Lanier LD-235 Copier?

Your Lanier LD-235 Copier is equipped with a built-in system, which is constantly monitoring the toner cartridge status. Once the monitoring system detects a low toner level, you will see the following message ‘’ [Toner Low Icon] Toner is almost empty’’ reappearing in the control display. Additionally, the ‘’Add Toner’’ indicator, which illustrates six black dots in a pyramidal order with an arrow pointing towards the dots, will be on (blinking). You must replace the exhausted toner cartridge, when the above warning message appears. Otherwise, the remaining toner will be completely consumed after approximately 90 new prints/copies, you will see the following message ‘’Replace Toner Bottle’’ appearing in the control display, and all printing/copying operations will be suspended. Please also note, the remaining 90 prints/copies will be with very poor quality, due to the lack of toner. Herein, you should always keep a spare toner cartridge for your Lanier LD-235 Copier.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Lanier LD-235 Copier

The toner cartridge replacement in your Lanier LD-235 Copier is a very easy procedure, which requires less than 10 minutes for complete execution. In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover, and then locate the exhausted toner cartridge. After that, you must lift, push in, and then pull towards you the green lever of the toner cartridge holder, until the holder is out of the printer`s slot. Then, you must gently push the exhausted toner cartridge towards the slot, in order to raise its front side. Now, you will be able to completely remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the copier by pulling it towards you at an angle of 45 degrees. Once the old/exhausted toner cartridge is out of the printer, you must unpack, and then shake the new cartridge 5-6 times horizontally. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the black sealing cap (do not remove the inner cap) and insert the new toner cartridge into the toner cartridge holder. After that, you must push the toner cartridge holder in, until it clicks, and then push down its green lever. Finally, you can close the front cover of your Lanier LD-235 Copier and continue with your next printing/copying project.

This device offers high productivity and prints copies at 35 pages per minute and features duplex capabilities. Additionally this machine only takes 15 to 20 seconds to warm up. When you are finished printing you can choose one of the finishers such as plus stapling and punching options, leaflets and booklets, and a saddle stitch finisher.

Pros:

The Lanier LD-235 will allow you to get more done around your office thanks to outstanding printing speeds. It can be used to produce contracts, reports, presentations or booklets. Plus you can supervise your print output device with "Locked Print" or "Hold Print" features. This copier will allow you to scan hard copies and send them via email. Finally instead of having to file papers around your office you can store them digitally. The Lanier LD-235 allows you to scan them directly into folders.

Outstanding print quality is another advantage of owning the Lanier LD-235. With other printers/copiers you may not be getting the print quality that you need. Color prints don’t show dithering and black and white prints are clear.

Cons:

Despite the many outstanding features of the Lanier LD-235, it lacks add on features that you need for your busy office. Furthermore there are too many maintenance issues with this device to really make it outstanding.
