When to Replace the Drum Unit in a Lexmark E330 Printer

You can understand when to replace the Drum unit of Lexmark E330 printer by following the light sequences when you stand in front of it.

When toner low light and error light blink you have to be aware that you will be no longer able to print, due to the fact that your Drum unit has ended.

To ensure print quality and avoid Lexmark E330 printer damage, printer will stop working my the time Drum unit reaches a maximum of 40,000 copies. The Lexmark E330 printer will automatically notify you before Drum unit reaches the end.

To avoid that problem and stopping to operate, replace the Drum unit when you first can. The Lexmark E330 printer will continue to work well after the Drum unit reaches its end-of-life (approximately 30,000 pages) but the print quality will significantly decrease until the Drum unit stops working along with the printer at 40,000 pages.

How to Replace the Drum Unit in a Lexmark E330 Printer

Stand in front of Lexmark E330 printer and press the button on the left side to open the front cover and open it. Take toner cartridge and Drum unit together out of Lexmark E330 printer.

Remove the toner cartridge from Drum unit by pressing button on the left side of the assembly and dispose old Drum unit by local laws and regulations.

Take new Drum unit out of the box, assemble toner cartridge and drum back together and put back in Lexmark E330 printer.

Align the green arrows of the assembly with those in the printer. Once you insert you can close front cover and continue printing.
