LEXMARK T430D TONER CARTRIDGE

You can obtain information about the toner cartridge installed in your Lexmark T430d from the Cartridge Information section of the menu settings page. One of the listed indications will appear if the installed toner cartridge needs replacing.

· The message [Change Cartridge Invalid Refill] is displayed

· The message [Toner Low] is displayed

· The message [31 Missing or Defective Cart.] is displayed

· The message [32 Unsupported Print Cartridge] is displayed

· Poor print quality

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must switch your Lexmark T430d off, and then open the front door. After that, you must use the handle to remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the Lexmark T430d. Now, you must clean the toner cartridge slot with a lint-free cloth, and then take the new toner cartridge out of the protective bag. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must detach the red plastic piece and the foam from the new toner cartridge, and then shake the cartridge several times from side to side. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must align it with the guides of the slot, and then insert it until it clicks into place. Finally, you must close the front door, and then switch your Lexmark T430d on.

You should replace the charge roll installed in your Lexmark T430d if fog or background shading appears on the printed pages.

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must make sure that your Lexmark T430d is switched off, and then unplug the power cord. After that, you must open the upper front door, and then remove the toner cartridge from the main unit. Now, you must push the right end of the exhausted charge roll down, and then detach the exhausted component from the guides. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unpack the new charge roll, and then insert its left end into the left guide. Once the left end of the new component is inserted, you must push the right end into place, and then remove the wrapper. Finally, you must reinstall the toner cartridge, and then close the front door of your Lexmark T430d.

You should replace the control panel of your Lexmark T430d if any of the listed indications persists.

· Display is incomplete or erratic

· Display does not function

· The error code 950 is displayed

· No backlight

Initially, you must open the front cover, and then open the cover of the MPF. After that, you must release the front and top latches of the left side cover, and then remove the left side cover from the Lexmark T430d. Now, you must remove the inner shield, loosen the five screws of the controller card cage cover, and then remove the cover by sliding it forward. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unplug the control panel connector from the controller card, and then detach the cable cover by removing the fixing screw. Once the cable cover is removed, you must disconnect the cable from the control panel card, and then remove the bezel from the control panel. Next, you must detach the language overlay, and then release the four tabs of the control panel. Finally, you must remove the control panel, and then install the replacement component by executing the current procedure in reverse order.
