For the price the Lexmark’s X646 monochrome MFP (multifunction printer) has a lot to offer. It will provide you with high quality output at affordable prices. Plus it offers many outstanding management tools.

Pros:

The Lexmark X646 is easy to operate and efficient. With it you get a main paper tray that holds 500 sheets plus an auxiliary tray that holds another 100.
Toner cartridges are easy to replace and reasonably priced. When printing with the Lexmark X646 the printing cost per page is 1.1 cents per text page. The bright 6-inch-by-5.5-inch touchscreen LCD makes using the Lexmark X646 easy.
Output quality with the Lexmark X646 is good. Text documents are easily readable at four point fonts. Plus there are no signs of smudging.
The paper tray is easy to use. However you have to be careful that you don’t accidently pull it out the entire way.
The Lexmark X646 comes with MarkVision, the company’s free printer-management software. It can be used to integrate the X646e with the rest of your printers. Lexmark’s Driver Profiler and Script Install allow you to send documents across the network.
The Lexmark X646 offers many other outstanding features. The X646e can combine two or four originals onto a single page, insert separator sheets between copies or jobs, date- and time-stamp documents (but not add page numbers), and mix and match several batches of originals into one document.

Cons:

The Lexmark X646 lacks color printing which is a necessity of many offices. Furthermore it only comes with a single 500 sheet paper tray. For many offices that means adding paper every single day, which can be quite a hassle.
