PAGEPRO 1250W DRUM

The print resource of the drum unit installed in your KONICA MINOLTA PagePro1250W is enough for approximately 20000 A4 pages at 5% coverage. The drum unit must be replaced before its complete exhaustion, in order to be avoided a variety of print quality issues. You could check the current number of prints made with the installed drum unit by opening the ''MINOLTA-QMS PagePro 1250E Printer Tools'', and then navigating to [Printer Settings] – [Counter], where you will see the [Total Counter], [Tray1 Counter], [Tray2 Counter], [Manual Counter], [Drum Counter], and the [Toner Counter]. Please note that you should use the [Drum Counter Reset] button from the described above menu to reset the drum unit counter, once a new drum unit has been installed.

Important: Please avoid touching the fuser unit and the developing roller (under the flap of the new drum unit). Please turn off your KONICA MINOLTA PagePro1250W and disconnect its power cord, before proceeding with the drum unit replacement procedure.

You must start the drum unit replacement procedure by closing the ''face-down'' tray. Then, you must open the top cover of your KONICA MINOLTA PagePro1250W. Now, you must remove the toner cartridge from the printer, and then remove the exhausted drum unit by pulling it straight upwards. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unpack the new drum unit, and then align its guides with the grooves of the slot. After that, you must insert the new drum unit into the slot, and then re-install the toner cartridge (it will click into place), but please make sure that the four aligning pins of the toner cartridge are placed into the grooves of the printer. Finally, you must close the top cover, and then reset the counter of the drum unit from the ''MINOLTA-QMS PagePro 1250E Printer Tools'' software suite (please refer to the instructions given in ''When do I Replace a Drum Unit in the KONICA MINOLTA PagePro1250W?'').
