KONICA MINOLTA MAGICOLOR 2530DL YELLOW TONER CARTRIDGE

In the settings of your printer you can choose two options:

First one is when in the ENGINE menu, the TONER EMPTY option is set to stop , the “TONER LIFE END X” message will appear on your screen ( The X sign is the color of one of the toner cartridges), when it is time to be replaced.

The second choice that you can make is to turn the above option to CONTINUE. Then “TONER EMPTY X” message appears. Again the X sign will be replaced with one of the colors Cyan, Magenta, Black or Yellow.

To replace the empty cartridge follow these steps:

1 Press MENU SELECT button until you reach the SPECIAL PAGES option
2 Then in the menu select ENGINE option by using the right arrow
3 Use the MENU SELECT button to enter ENGINE menu and choose the REPLACE TONER option
4 By using the ARROWS choose the appropriate color of the cartridge you need.
5 Use again the MENU SELECT button and wait until the cartridges are rolling inside. When the empty cartridge is in position to be replaced on the screen will appear “OPEN DOOR/REPLACE TONER X”.

When everything of this is ready pull the lever on the top of the machine and open the cover. Then open the front door too. Pull the handle of the cartridge toward you and take the cartridge out of the machine. Prepare the new one of the same color by unpacking it. Shake it a little bit and remove all the protective covers. After that, put it inside the machine. Be sure that the cartridge is properly aligned in its both ends in the holders then just push it down to lock and secure the cartridge. Close the front and the top covers. The machine will automatically begin the calibration process. When this proper is finished on the screen will be written a “READY” message.
