Panasonic DP-3010 Review
When time-pressured work filled with document processing complication hits your business, workflow efficiency is in danger but with Panasonic DP-3010, you can free yourself from such problems while workflow productivity is assured. It is a smart choice for businesses looking for cost-effective, reliable and flexible multifunction device with it combining the power of print, copy, scan and fax functionality. Panasonic DP-3010 is more known to be a small and medium workgroup MFP which is once and for all has low total cost of ownership (TCO) offering a combination of IT sophistication and exemplary paper handling performance. The fitting design complements any PC and should look comfortable anywhere in a work environment. It stands in its rectangular box-like resemblance styled in cream color with a few panels in gray coupled with some simple yet smart looking lines that just heightens its individuality. At the top most part is a single panel in gray with useful highlights in it including an 8-inch diagonal, half-VGA, touch-sensitive LCD display and an array of several buttons for controls.
DP-3010 outranks many multifunction devices with its impressive copy speed that fits any establishments of rush copy needs. It delivers at fast 30 CPM (copies per minute) with a first copy out time at approximately 4.5 seconds (letter size). This delivery speed is associated with a considerable warm-up time at around 30 seconds. Image quality is as impressive thanks to the standard 600 x 600 DPI resolution with 256 gray scale steps. Exposure controller can be set to text, photo or text-photo mode that delivers clear, sharp and blur-free images of crisp detail. It takes up a maximum copy size that of a ledger and minimum copy size that of an invoice with multiple copying enabled of up to 999 copies that then automatically resets to 1. For added flexibility, zooming can be done within 25% to 400% in increments of 1%.
DP-3010 is ridiculously large at dimensions of 23.6” x 27.8” x 33.8” (W x D x H) making it considerably bulky and mobility is nearly impossible with its weight at 82 kg. Operating system compatibility is also a problem as by default, it is incompatible to newer operating systems such as Windows Vista and 7 since its compatibility are on operating systems prior to its release and drivers (if available) is needed to be downloaded or supplied to be compatible with this newer operating systems. |
