This Toner Cartridge prints 11000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Ricoh specification)

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Ricoh Aficio 1022 Printer?

The Ricoh Aficio 1022 Printer features a precise built-in system, which monitors the status of all installed consumables constantly. You can check the system counters and the status of the installed toner cartridge by pressing the [User Tool/Counter] key. All toner-cartridge related indications are listed below. Please follow the provided instructions.

Low Toner Indications

Copies are too light
The [Add Toner] indicator flashes
[Toner is almost empty] is displayed

You should install a new toner cartridge when any of the listed Low Toner indications appears. Otherwise, all print/copy operations will be disabled.

Toner Empty Indications

The [Add Toner] indicator is on
The [Facsimile] key is lit in red
[Toner Empty] is displayed

You must install a new toner cartridge when any of the listed Toner Empty indications appears. Please be aware that printing will not continue until the new toner cartridge is installed.

You should keep all spare toner cartridges in a cool, dry place free from direct sunlight.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Ricoh Aficio 1022 Printer

To install a new toner cartridge in your Ricoh Aficio 1022 Printer, you must open the front cover, and then lift the green handle of the toner-cartridge holder. Next, you must unlock the toner-cartridge holder by pushing the lock release lever down, and then pull the holder towards you until it stops. After that, you must push the used toner cartridge forward to release it, and then remove it from the holder. Now, you must redistribute the toner by shaking the new toner cartridge several times from side to side horizontally, and then remove the outer black cap from the new component. Once the outer black cap is removed, you must slide the new toner cartridge into the holder, and then push its front side forward. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must slide the toner-cartridge holder into the machine until it locks into place, and then lower the green handle. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Ricoh Aficio 1022 Printer.

The Ricoh Aficio 1022 delivers impressing scanning speeds of around 42 images per minute. This device uses ScanRouter software which helps computers integrate with the device, and makes sending images easier.

This device comes with network features that will allow offices to share documents easily. There is also an optional hard drive that will store important documents that are often printed.

The price of consumables for the Ricoh Aficio 1022 is reasonable due to the fact that it only uses one toner cartridges. Black toner cartridges yield 11,000 prints. These toner cartridges are easy to install. Plus they produce quality printing that is outstanding for business use.
