RICOH AFICIO 350 TONER CARTRIDGE

The toner cartridge installed in your Ricoh Aficio 350 Laser Printer must be replaced before the complete exhaustion of its print resource (toner). The lifespan of this consumable component depends upon a variety of factors, such as the type of used paper, the average number of pages per print task, the average percentage of page coverage, the chosen print quality settings, the type of the installed toner cartridge, the overall technical condition of the laser printer, etc… Therefore, the exact maximal number of prints possible with one toner cartridge could not be precisely specified. The installed toner cartridge must be replaced, when the [Add Toner] indicator starts flashing, or when it is lit. This indicator is located on the control panel of your laser device, and it is illustrating six black dots in a pyramidal order with an arrow pointing towards the dots. Please follow the instructions given below to install a new toner cartridge, once the described above indication appears.

In the initial phase of the replacement procedure, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge, which is located in the main compartment of your Ricoh Aficio 350 Laser Printer. Therefore, you must open the front cover of the main unit, and then raise the green handle of the toner cartridge holder. After that, you must unlock the toner cartridge holder by pushing its lock release lever (located under the holder) to the right, and then pull the holder gently towards you, in order to gain access to the exhausted toner cartridge. Now, you must push the exhausted toner cartridge towards the main unit until its front side is raised/elevated, and then remove the exhausted consumable component by carefully pulling it out of the holder. In the second phase of the replacement procedure, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the transport packaging, but without removing its outer black cap, and then shake the new cartridge at least 10 times from side to side. After that, you must remove the black outer cap, and then insert the new toner cartridge into the holder. Once the new toner cartridge is inserted, you must slide it towards the front side of the holder, and then push the holder towards the main unit until the green lock lever clicks. Finally, you must return the green handle of the toner cartridge holder to its original position, and then close the front cover of your Ricoh Aficio 350 Laser Printer.
