RICOH AFICIO MPC2500 CYAN TONER CARTRIDGE

Your Ricoh Aficio MP-C2500 Laser Printer is equipped with four toner cartridges. The installed toner cartridges are consumable components, which have a certain, limited lifespan. You could easily check the remaining toner of the installed cartridges by navigating to the ‘’Maintenance Info’’ menu, where you must select ‘’Remaining Toner’’. Please install a new toner cartridge of the indicated color, if any of the described below signals/signs appears.

  The print quality is gradually decreasing, and each new print/copy is lighter – One or several toner cartridges are nearly empty. Please check the remaining toner level, and replace all nearly empty toner cartridges.

  The [Add Toner] indicator is blinking – The monitoring system has detected a low toner level in one or several of the installed toner cartridges. Please check the remaining toner level, and install new toner cartridges of the corresponding colors.

  ‘’Add Toner XXXX’’ is displayed on the control LCD – Your printer is in a non-operational mode, caused by a completely exhausted toner cartridge/cartridges. All print/copy operations will be disabled, until new toner cartridge/cartridges of the indicated colors are installed.

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your Ricoh Aficio MP-C2500 Laser Printer, and then locate the exhausted toner cartridge by checking the labels. Once you have located the exhausted toner cartridge, you must grab its front side and pull towards you to remove it from the laser printer. Please avoid shaking the exhausted toner cartridge. In the next step, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it 7-8 times vertically. After that, you must align the prepared new toner cartridge with the slot, so the arrow stamped on the cartridge is pointing towards the slot, and then completely insert the new component. Finally, you must close the front cover of your color laser printer.
