When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Ricoh Aficio MPC3500 Printer?
You can check how much toner remains in the installed toner cartridges by selecting [Maintenance Info] – [Remaining Toner]. One of the listed indications will appear if any of the installed toner cartridges needs replacing.

Insufficient print density – You must make sure that the correct print density settings are selected. Then, you should check the toner levels from the [Maintenance Info] menu. All nearly empty toner cartridges must be replaced.

White lines across the printout – This print quality problem indicates that one or several of the installed toner cartridges is/are near the end of its/their useful life. You should replace all nearly empty toner cartridges to improve print quality.

The message [Add Toner ] is displayed – The indicated toner cartridge is empty. Please install a new toner cartridge of the specified color. You can find detailed instructions on how to replace a toner cartridge in the Ricoh Aficio MPC3500 Printer further below.
How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Ricoh Aficio MPC3500 Printer
In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of the Ricoh Aficio MPC3500 Printer, and then remove the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling it slowly out of the corresponding slot. Next, you must remove the packing material from the new toner cartridge, and then loosen the toner by shaking the new component 8-10 times vertically. Once you have finished redistributing the toner, you must align the new toner cartridge with the corresponding slot, and then insert it into place. Finally, you must close the front cover of the printer.

Overview:

The Ricoh Aficio MPC 3500 offers many outstanding features. Color output is outstanding. This unit delivers fast speeds and outstanding finishing features. From start to finish you will get outstanding output quality with the Ricoh Aficio MPC3500.


Pros:

Speed is never an issue with the Ricoh Aficio MPC 3500. It delivers print speeds of 35 pages per minute in monochrome and color. As a result you get more printing done.

The Ricoh Aficio MPC 3500 also offers outstanding paper handling capabilities. There are two, 500 sheet paper trays. An additional 2,000 sheet LCT can be added. There are also optional finishing features available for this unit including a stapler, booklet finisher, and sorting.

This device offers outstanding copying at 600 X 600 dpi. Originals can be reduced to 25% or enlarged to 400%. It can handle paper sizes from 5-1/2 x 8-1/2/ inches to 11 x 17 inches. With this unit you also get network printing and scanning.


Cons:

The only drawback to the Ricoh Aficio MPC3500 is that many of its outstanding features are optional. As a result it will cost you a lot to upgrade this multifunctional device from the standard version.
