This Toner Cartridge prints 11000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Savin specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Savin.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Savin 2527 Black & White Multifunction Printer?

The lifespan of the installed toner cartridge depends on the amount of toner that your print jobs require. One of the listed indications will appear when the installed toner cartridge reaches the end of its useful life.

Prints/copies are too light – You should try to improve print quality by adjusting the copy/print image density. Please be aware that the use of damp or rough grain paper reduces print quality. You should replace the installed toner cartridge if print quality remains unsatisfactory.

The [Add Toner] indicator is on – Printing/copying is still possible in this situation. However, the remaining amount of toner will be consumed within 50 new copies/prints. Thus, you should install a new toner cartridge.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Savin 2527 Black & White Multifunction Printer

To install a new toner cartridge in your Savin 2527 Black & White Multifunction Printer, you must open the front cover, and then raise the green handle of the toner cartridge holder. After that, you must unlock the toner cartridge holder by pushing the green lever down, and then use the green handle to pull the holder out. Now, you must push the used toner cartridge slightly towards the main unit, and then remove it from the holder. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the transport packaging from the new toner cartridge, and then shake the new component 8-10 times horizontally to loosen the toner. Once you have loosened the toner, you must remove the black outer cap from the new toner cartridge, and then insert the new component into the holder. Next, you must pull the new toner cartridge slightly towards you to lock it into place, and then push the toner cartridge holder towards the machine until you hear a click. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Savin 2527 Black & White Multifunction Printer.

This device will help to reduce waste. It will use less toner, helping to have less of a negative impact on the environment. The Savin 2527 will create custom documents using a variety of image manipulation and editing capabilities. It will resize images with precision using its zoom features. Plus you can combine multiple originals on a single sheet.

Cons:

Even though the maximum paper capacity of the Savin 2527 is 3,100 sheets, the standard paper capacity of this printer is only two 500 sheet trays. Another drawback of owning this printer is that it only offers 600 dpi resolution copying.
