When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Panasonic PanaFax UF-7000?

Your Panasonic PanaFax UF-7000 is equipped with a built-in system, which is constantly monitoring the status of the installed toner cartridge. Once the system detects a low toner level, you will see the following message ‘’TONER IS RUNNING LOW U13’’ appearing the control display, and there will be toner for less than 500 pages left in the toner cartridge. In this situation, you must replace the exhausted toner cartridge with a new one. Otherwise, the machine will continue using the remaining toner and very soon the following message ‘’WARNING!! TONER LOW. LESS THAN 50 PAGES’’ will appear in the control display. Eventually, all of the remaining toner will be consumed, you will see the following message ‘’OUT OF TONER U13’’, and all printing operations will be suspended. Herein, you should always keep a spare toner cartridge for your Panasonic PanaFax UF-7000.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Panasonic PanaFax UF-7000

You must start the toner cartridge replacement procedure in your Panasonic PanaFax UF-7000 by opening the front cover. After that, you must grab both sides of the drum unit, slightly pull them upwards, and then pull the drum unit along with the attached exhausted toner cartridge out of the printer. Now, you must detach the exhausted toner cartridge from the drum unit by pressing its release latch and pulling the toner cartridge upwards. Then, you must shake the new toner cartridge at least 15-20 times horizontally, and remove both the protective tape and the protective cover from the cartridge afterwards. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must slide it along the drum unit`s guides and then push it down until it clicks into place. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the drum unit with the attached new toner cartridge along the guides of the printer` slot, until it stops, and then gently push down both sides of the drum unit. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Panasonic PanaFax UF-7000 and confirm the new toner cartridge installation by selecting [1: Yes], when the following message [New Toner Replaced? 1: YES/2: NO] appears in the control display.

With it you get super fast scanning at rates of less than two seconds per page. Panasonic is one of the leading fax machine manufacturers in the world and this is one of its latest models.

Pros:

With a Super G3 modem fax you get a modem speed of 33.6 Kbps. The Panasonic UF-7000 can transmit faxes in 2.7 seconds. The quality of faxes is outstanding.

This printer is well built and weighs 48.5 pounds. Its dimensions are 17.7 X 16.5 X 17.6, meaning that it won’t take up a lot of room in your office.

Output quality is above average. It delivers a print resolution of 600 X 600 dpi. Text documents are sharp and easy to read at smaller fonts. Printing speed is average at 15 pages per minute.

Cons:

Paper handling is limited with only a 250 sheet tray that can be upgraded to 800 sheets. The Panasonic PanaFax UF-7000 also lacks color printing.
