HP COLOR LASERJET 2550 PICKUP ROLLER

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must turn the HP Color LaserJet 2550 Laser Printer off, and then unplug the power cable from the rear panel. Next, you must open Tray 1, and then remove the faceplate cover. Please note that the faceplate cover is located beneath the installed pickup roller. After that, you must separate the right idler roller from the used pickup roller by sliding the idler roller to the right while squeezing its release tab, and then separate the left idler roller by using the same technique. Now, you must press and hold down the lock release button of the used pickup roller, and then slide the exhausted component to the right. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must pull the exhausted pickup roller towards you to remove it, and then use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry the used separation pad from the spring-loaded base. Once the used separation pad is accessible, you must remove it by pulling it up while pressing the spring-loaded base down. At this stage, you must insert the new separation pad into the printer, making sure that the two tabs on the edge of the new component are facing toward the front side of the main unit, and then push the new separation pad down until it clicks into place. Next, you must align the new pickup roller, so that the ridge on the open side of the new component is right above the groove of the shaft, and then push the new pickup roller into place. After that, you must slide the left and right idler rollers toward the new pickup roller until both rollers click into place, and then reattach the faceplate cover. Finally, you must close Tray 1, and then test your HP Color LaserJet 2550 Laser Printer.
