When the toner is empty you need to change the toner cartridge. First open the front cover. Then pull the old toner cartridge out. Next remove the cartridge from its bag and shake it five or six times to distribute the toner inside the cartridge. Next remove the paper protecting the toner cartridge by removing the tape. Then take the toner cartridge and slowly place the cartridge into the opening the printer. Now shut the cover and make sure that it has been closed completely.

One printing problem that users may have to deal with is the printer not printing. This may result from the printer not getting any power. To solve this problem check the power cord connections. You should look at the power switch and power source. The printer may not be printing because the printer is not set as the default printer. This issue can be resolved by selecting Samsung ML-2510 as your default printer.

Another issue that one deals with when owning a printer is the printer selecting print media from the wrong paper source. The cause of this is the paper source selection in the printer properties being incorrect. In many software applications the paper source can be located under the Paper tab within the printer properties. You need to choose the correct paper source.

You may also have to deal with paper not feeding correctly into the printer. Commonly this happens when the paper has not being loaded correctly. Simply remove paper from the tray and load it again to resolve this problem. Another reason that paper is not feeding correctly is that there is too much paper in the tray. The solution to this issue is to remove excess paper from the tray.

First turn the printer off and unplug it. Wait for the printer to cool down. Next open the front cover and pull the toner cartridge out. Place it on a clean flat surface. Next take the manual tray out. Take a cloth and clean any dust that has resulted from spilled toner in the toner cartridge area. Then swab the LSU inside the top of the cartridge. Now reinsert the manual tray. Next hold the toner cartridge by the handle and put the cartridge into the printer. Then shut the front cover and plug in the power cord.
