When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the TOSHIBA E-STUDIO 600 Laser Printer?

The TOSHIBA E-STUDIO 600 Laser Printer is equipped with a built-in toner level monitoring system, which will warn you, when the toner cartridge runs out of toner. When the toner level becomes too low, you will see the following message ``Install new toner cartridge`` in the upper left corner of your printer`s display. A second message ``Open the toner cover`` will be displayed above the previous. Additionally, the ``Toner cover`` symbol will be blinking. In this situation, you will be able to print a maximum of 2000 sheets, before the toner runs out completely. Once the toner cartridge is completely out of toner, you will see the following message ``Add toner`` and the ``Toner cartridge`` symbol will be blinking. Please note, that all copying functions will be disabled until you replace the toner cartridge. In both of the above situations, you must replace the exhausted toner cartridge with a new one.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the TOSHIBA E-STUDIO 600 Laser Printer

Initially, you must open the front cover of your E-Studio 600 by inserting you fingers in its access and pulling towards you. Now, you must take out the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling its holder towards you, and then you can unpack the new one. You must shake the new toner cartridge several times, and after that you must hold it in a horizontal position and pull out the protective seal in the direction illustrated by the arrow. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must match the orange label of the printer with the orange shutter of the cartridge and insert it into position. Finally, you can return the toner cartridge holder to its original position and close the toner cover of your TOSHIBA E-STUDIO 600 Laser Printer.

Both text prints and color images are of outstanding quality. The Toshiba E-Studio 600 Copier can produce up to 90,000 copies a month and also has a standard 40GB hard drive for easier storage of document. The Toshiba E-studio 283 Copier comes with duplexing at no additional cost. An optional 33.6Kbps Line Fax can be added which won’t cost you a lot.

Pros:

With the Toshiba E-studio 600 you get outstanding controller technology. It comes with e-BRIDGE technology. e-BRIDGE architecture increases processing power and speed in the processing of concurrent print, copy, scan and fax jobs as well as enabling a range of capabilities that will enhance control and security. These systems are fast and network ready.

The scanning capability of the Toshiba E-studio 600 is also outstanding. With e-Bridge technology you get high speed scanning. Scan speeds can reach as high as 71 spm at 600 dpi or 83spm at 300 dpi. With it you also get e-FILING (or Copy to Box) that make documents easy to share and protect or download to network PCs.

It comes equipped with an RADF (Reverse Automatic Document Feeder). As a result you can feed up to 2,000 original document pages per job. It offers a total paper capacity of 7,600 sheets. Plus it also offers a standard Automatic Duplexing Unit (ADU) that will produce double-sided prints at precisely the same rated print speed for single prints/copies.

The Toshiba E-studio 600 allows you to add toner while copying. Users can replace the toner bottle while the machine keeps on churning out copies. The Job Build function allows you to create documents from single or duplexed originals, changing paper size or image modes as required, and then output as one entirely new document.

Versatile finishing features are a major advantage of the Toshiba E-studio 600. The e-STUDIO600 offers a range of optional finishing/inserting capabilities that allow users to produce highly professional documents. Some of the features include stapling, hole punch, and tab printing. A5 to A3 stock can be used in the cassettes and ADU while the post-fusing inserter unit will handle A3 + stock.

Cons:

The Toshiba E-studio 600 packs a lot of great features. Consumables are a little expensive, but offer quality printing. Both text and graphic prints are outstanding with the Toshiba E-studio 600.
