WORKCENTRE PRO 123 DRUM

The drum unit is a consumable component. You can check the status of the installed drum unit from the Consumables menu. You should replace the drum unit if it is correctly installed but one of the listed messages appears.

Initially, you must open the front cover of the Xerox WorkCentre Pro 123 Laser Printer, and then open the bypass tray. After that, you must open the right cover of the laser printer, and then release the exhausted drum unit by raising the colored lever. Now, you must pull the exhausted drum unit towards you to remove it from the main unit, and then unpack the replacement component. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the protective sheet, and then slide the new drum unit along the guides of the slot as far as it will go. Once the new drum unit is inserted, you must remove the protective sealing tape from the new component, and then push the drum unit towards the main unit to ensure proper contact. After that, you must close the right cover, and then close the bypass tray. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Xerox WorkCentre Pro 123 Laser Printer.
