PHASER 8200 POWER SUPPLY

The main function of the power supply is to convert the AC line voltage into internal AC and DC voltages. The installed power supply should be replaced in the following circumstances:

The error message [IL_FAULT_CMYK_JAM] is displayed – You should check the condition of the four ink loaders. Please replace the ink loaders if necessary. A new power supply must be installed if the problem persists.

The error message [TCH_RESERVOIR_HOT] is displayed – You must turn off the Xerox Phaser 8200 Color Printer and unplug the power cord immediately. Then, you must make sure that all connectors of the printhead are correctly inserted. Please replace the power supply if the problem persists.

The error message [TCP_THERMISTOR_OPEN] or [TCP_THERMISTOR_SLOW] is displayed – You should check the preheater cables and the preheater for damages. Please replace the paper preheater if necessary. You must install a new power supply if the problem persists.

The Xerox Phaser 8200 Color Printer is plugged in but the fans do not move and the LEDs do not flash

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must turn the printer off, and then unplug the power cord. Next, you must remove the right cover, the left cover, the rear cover, and the top cover from the main unit. After that, you must disconnect the two wiring harnesses leading to the power supply, and then remove the four screws, which secure the power supply into place. Now, you must pull the defective/damaged power supply out of the Xerox Phaser 8200 Color Printer, and then unpack the replacement component. Finally, you must install the new power supply by executing the current procedure in reverse order.
