MAGICOLOR 5450DL TRANSFER BELT

The Konica Minolta MagiColor 5450DL Color Laser Printer will display the [TRANS. BELT <> END OF LIFE] status message when the installed transfer belt reaches the end of its useful life.

[TRANS. BELT <> END OF LIFE] – The installed transfer belt has been exhausted. You can continue printing, but print quality will be gradually decreasing. A new transfer belt must be installed.

Initially, you must open the front cover, and then unlock the installed waste toner container by turning its dial counterclockwise. Next, you must pull the waste toner container and the toner cartridges towards you for about 4inches. After that, you must remove the three screws from the left side cover, and then remove the left side cover. Now, you must open the right side cover, and then remove the screws securing the exhausted transfer belt. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the exhausted transfer belt by pulling it towards you from the side where the left side cover was removed, and then unpack the new component. Please do not touch the surface of the belt. Once the new transfer belt is prepared, you must slide it along the rails of the Konica Minolta MagiColor 5450DL Color Laser Printer until it stops, and then secure the new component into place by tightening the two screws. Next, you must close the right side cover, and then insert the waste toner container and the toner cartridges back into the printer. After that, you must lock the waste toner container into place by turning its dial clockwise, and then reinstall the left side cover. Finally, you must close the front cover, and then reset the counter of transfer belt by selecting [QUALITY] – [SUPPLIES] – [REPLACE] – [TRANS. BELT].
