BROTHER MFC-7345N DRUM

In order to replace an exhausted drum unit in your Brother MFC-7345N Multifunction Printer, you must initially gain access to the exhausted drum unit by opening the front printer cover. Then, you must take the exhausted drum unit along with the attached toner cartridge out of the printer by pulling it slowly towards you. After that, you must detach the toner cartridge from the exhausted drum unit by pushing down the colored lock release lever (on the front side of the drum unit) and pulling the cartridge out, but avoid touching the contact area of the toner cartridge. Cleaning of the Primary Corona Wire

1. Look at the top side of the drum unit and locate the green cleaning tab.
2. Hold the green tab and slide it to the end of the cleaning channel.
3. Slide the green tab back to its original position.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 several times.
5. Make sure that the cleaning tab is back to its original position.

Once the primary corona wire has been cleaned, you must insert the new drum unit along with the attached toner cartridge into the printer, and then confirm the new drum unit installation and reset the drum counter by pressing the [Clear/Back] – [1] buttons.
