How to Set Up the Paper Cassette and Load Paper in the Canon ImageClass MF4380DN

Start by aligning the guides of the paper cassette. Next move the paper cassette until both sides of the paper cassette connect inside the machine. Now open the front of the paper cassette. Next move the paper guide rail (A). Move the paper guides so that they are the same size as the paper. Then make sure that your paper stack is lined up. Afterwards load the paper into the paper cassette with the printed side face up. The paper should sit below the small fin on the paper guide. Next make sure that you are using the correct paper guide rail that matches the size of the paper that you are using. Then close the paper cassette. Users need to match the dust cover and the edge of the paper cassette and put the cover on top of the cassette.

Setting Up the Network Connection With the Canon ImageClass MF4380DN

The first action that you should take when establishing a network connection is to press MENU. Then use the arrow keys to choose 11 SYSTEM SETTINGS and press OK. Next use the arrow keys to choose 3 NETWORK SETTINGS and select OK. Afterwards use the left and right arrows to choose 4 VIEW IP ADDRESS and press OK. The following step is to use the arrows to choose 4 IPv4 and then press OK. Then select 1 IP ADDRESS, 2 SUBNET MASK or 3 GATEWAR ADDRESS and press OK. Overview:

The Canon ImageClass MF4380dn looks sleek and is easy to use. You will fall in love with it once you set your eyes on it. The buttons for copy, fax, and scan are large and easy to use. Buttons for starting and stopping/resetting copy and scan tasks make you life easier any time you need to stop copying. However these buttons don't feel that sturdy.

Pros:

The Canon MF4380 offers good speeds when printing, scanning, and copying. It is capable of producing text documents at a rate of 16 pages per minute. It can scan a color image in 28 seconds which is typical for a laser printer. Print quality with the MF 4380dn is reasonably good. It produces sharp text and can print legible text at even 2-point type size. Prints with the printer have no banding. Copying quality with this model is good especially when copying black letters. Color scans also reproduce color accurately. On-screen scans also look outstanding. It offers network support and an automatic duplexer and the paper tray holds 100 sheets. Additional trays can be added to expand its capacity.

Cons:

This all all-in-one laser printer with network and auto-duplexer support lacks some of the features that will make your office workload easier. Not to mention that it is priced higher than many similar printers.
