You must make sure that the Canon NP-6030 Laser Copier is switched off, and then open the front cover. Next, you must pull the exhausted drum unit out of the laser copier, and then take the replacement component out of the box. After that, you must remove the light-blocking sheet and the release spacer from the new drum unit, and then slide the new component into the machine. Now, you must fix the new drum unit into place with the knob, and then write the necessary information on the included label. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must attach the label to the cover of the new drum unit, and then insert the door switch actuator. Once the door switch actuator is inserted, you must turn the Canon NP-6030 Laser Copier on, and then press the service mode switch. Next, you must press [*] – [3] – [*], and then enter the new values in the [Primary] and [IP_OFST] sections. After that, you must press [*] – [4] – [*] – [OK], and then detach the door switch actuator. Finally, you must close the front door of the laser copier.
