COLORFORCE CF3102 BLACK DRUM

The Konica Minolta CF3102 Color Laser Printer is equipped with four drum units. The lifespan of the Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow drum units is approx. 52,000 prints while the Black drum unit lasts approx. 82,000 prints. You should replace the installed drum units if any of the listed print quality problems appears.

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must take the drum unit pull-out tray out of the box, and then switch the Konica Minolta CF3102 Color Laser Printer off. Next, you must unplug the power cord, and then open the front door of the laser printer. After that, you must unlock the exhausted drum unit by pulling its release lever down, and then take the IU removal jig. Now, you must insert the IU removal jig into the exhausted drum unit, and then rotate the jig clockwise until it stops. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the drum unit pull-out tray under the exhausted drum unit, and then remove the exhausted component by pulling the IU removal jig gently towards you. Once the exhausted drum unit has been removed, you must return the IU removal jig into the machine, and then take the new drum unit out of the protective aluminum bag. Next, you must carefully shake the new drum unit 2-3 times from side to side, and then remove the protective tapes and the shipping cushion from the new component. After that, you must insert the front end of the drum unit cover into the corresponding slot, and then slide the new drum unit into place. At this stage of the procedure, you must remove the drum unit cover from the main unit, and then secure the new component into place by pressing the corresponding lock lever towards the machine. Finally, you must close the front door, and then test your Konica Minolta CF3102 Color Laser Printer.
