CLP-300 BLACK TONER CARTRIDGE

The Samsung CLP-300 Laser Printer uses a certain amount of toner for each print job. The four toner-cartridges (Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, and Black) that are installed in the laser printer contain the toner. The toner cartridges are consumable components. For that reason, your Samsung CLP-300 Laser Printer is equipped with several toner cartridge LEDs, which indicate the status of the installed cartridges. The toner cartridge LEDs will be lit in a certain pattern when a toner cartridge related abnormality occurs. Please replace the specified toner cartridges if any of the listed and explained light patterns appears on the control panel of your laser printer.

The [Status] LED lights green and each of the four [Toner] LEDs blinks red – The components of the installed toner cartridges are near the end of their useful life. You must install a new toner cartridge set soon after the initial appearance of this light pattern on the control panel.

The [Status] LED blinks red and each of the four [Toner] LEDs lights red – All installed toner cartridges are nearly empty. The print quality cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, you should install a new toner cartridge set.

The [Status], [Yellow Toner], [Cyan Toner], [Magenta Toner], and [Black Toner] LEDs are lit in red – This is an indication for an exhausted toner cartridge set. Printing will not continue until a new toner cartridge set is installed.

The green [Status] LED is on and one of the red [Toner] LEDs is blinking – The remaining toner in the indicated toner cartridge is less than 10%. You should install a new toner cartridge of the specified color soon.

The red [Status] LED flashes and one of the red [Toner] LEDs is on – Your Samsung CLP-300 Laser Printer has detected a low toner level. Please install a new toner cartridge of the indicated color.

The red [Status] LED and one of the red [Toner] LEDs are on – You must make sure that the indicated toner cartridge is installed correctly. The specified toner cartridge must be replaced with a new one if the problem persists.

In some cases, you must replace the installed toner cartridges even if the [Toner] LEDs are off. For example, a new toner cartridge set must be installed if the print quality is unsatisfactory, and any of the following print-quality issues appears: light printouts, dropouts, background shading, vertical repetitive defects, solid color printouts, solid black printouts, loose toner, or horizontal stripes.

Please turn off your Samsung CLP-300 Laser Printer, and wait a few minutes for the internal components to cool. Then, you must open the front cover by gently pulling its top section towards you. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must pull the exhausted toner cartridge towards you to remove it from the main unit, and then unpack the new toner cartridge of the corresponding color. Now, you must shake the new toner cartridge thoroughly from side to side to ensure equal toner distribution, and then remove the protective cap from the shutter of the new component. After that, you must slide the new toner cartridge along the guides of the corresponding slot until it clicks into place, and then close the front cover. Finally, you must turn your Samsung CLP-300 Laser Printer on.
